The world premiere of Inua Ellams's Once Upon a Time in Sokoto, directed by Roy Alexander Weise for Fuel and Touring Together. Opening at Royal & Derngate, Northampton (28 September – 10 October 2026) and touring to Oxford Playhouse, Nottingham Playhouse, Warwick Arts Centre, Leeds Playhouse, Brighton Dome and Bristol Old Vic (February 2027). An unlikely friendship between an enslaved woman and her former master in nineteenth-century Sokoto, with Adeola Yemitan, Antonia Layiwola, Bayo Gbadamosi and Will Atiomo. Sound design by Dan Balfour, composition by Femi Temowo.
